ENER-SUPPLY: 5th Steering Committee Meeting, Fojnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 31st of August 2011 in Fojnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina was held the 5th Steering Committee Meeting of the project ENER-SUPPLY. The meeting addressed the following main issues:
• Presentation of the project’s overall achievements up to now;
• Presentation of the activities done by the Partners;
• Competition Video, which will be opened in all the countries involved;
• Tasks for the last project semester.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Azrudin Husika from REIC, the local coordinator of ENER-SUPPLY and Mr. Luigi D’Angelo, representative of the Leader Partner Municipality of Potenza. All project partners reported on the results achieved for the last 6 months in their institutions. Some of the main topics included the elaboration of maps with RES potential, the upcoming Feasibility Studies on base of the maps and implementation of Energy Management System (Analysis of Supply, Energy Balance and Energy Audit).

Few more events were held simultaneously. UNESCO Regional Summer School on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Governance took place in Fojnica during the same time. Young professionals and university students - master/PhD candidates attended the 7th edition of the school, organized by UNESCO, GIZ (Germany) and REIC (B&H). On 30th of August training on Regional policy, EU funds and energy investments was organized for both the summer school participants and the ENER-SUPPLY partners. All of them had the chance to become part of the Local Energy Day on 1st of September, where an exhibition was opened for the local citizens and presentations of companies working in RES and EE field showed good practices to the audience, including to the decision makers from the area.
